Spango Bridge track

Had a fancy to check out the trail in the Lowther hills from Spango Bridge to Fingland so headed down there today. Parked at Sanquar Station and headed out round the low trails of SUW. A very nice track above Spango Valley and the track through the wood was open in part so was OK. The track from Spango Bridge is faint then improves and was mainly cycleable but wouldn't like it in the wet. Downhill to Kirkland (fun). Four hard hours on off road.
