A beautiful day along the cut.

Loch Thom

On this lovely day Anne and I went up to Cornalees to walk the Greenock cut, anticlockwise to make sure we got the best views.
It was very slightly hazy but the views were still great.
We took lots of photos as we strolled along enjoying the sun.

View a walk description here.

Glad you got out, i was out trying out my new toy, a GPS for the bike, beginning to get the hang of it, trouble was, spent so much time dodging fallen trees and the like, that the tracklog is way off

It was a glorious walk and didn't need any navigation aids at all, just walk, admire the view, click a photo, walk on.
If the mapping detail was good for forest roads I might consider getting a GPS, although I quite enjoy being a little lost sometimes.

Still in the process of finding good maps, only just found out that you can buy OS maps online, and they can be customised to suit your needs, ie, area you want etc.

Thing is,its just a basic GPS, turn left, straight on sort of thing, more like a high end cycling computer.

The maps are for when i get home, and then i can download the route that i have been on, and then post it online
